In Humanities, Neïl Beloufa crafts a complex network of digital and physical spaces where narratives unfold, making the exhibition an immersive experience shaped by its visitors. But a pressing question arises: Who is truly in control?
The installation Growth immerses visitors in an interactive environment that blurs the lines between individual and collective narratives. As they move through various stations, participants craft their own personal success stories, making choices that engage with topics of technology, ecology, health, and society. Participants are invited to intuitively select from over forty objects they find valuable, with each choice subtly influencing the artwork's overall value.
Kunsthalle Basel, in collaboration with EBB, offers a unique chance to own exclusive editions of these objects featured in the exhibition. Available for purchase through a dynamic pricing model directly tied to the number of 'likes' each object received from visitors during the exhibition. This innovative approach to art buying transcends mere transaction; it becomes an integral part of Humanities, challenging notions of value creation, the attention economy, and the commodification of engagement.
By acquiring these editions, you don't just become a collector—you actively contribute to the evolving dialogue around value while supporting EBB and the visionary program of Kunsthalle Basel.
